just a nice white house...

i love a simple white house, in my opinion, it gives more character to a house sometimes...i love the different design from the facade outside the house and as you enter the house, it's immediately different. the combination of traditional outside look of the house and the splash of modern design inside are just brilliant,..

Keeping the aesthetic value of the house from outside and giving it another character like a re-birth, fresh modern look for the interior..i'm just in love...

i love this interview by New York fashion director Harriet Mays Powell. i think Mr genius himself needs a chill pill sometimes but that makes him the master genius himself, he's very moody, crazy, very VERY funny and the words that comes out from his mouth are just too random sometimes, but we love it, WE LOVE HIM :)

DvF, the studio

'I always wanted to live a man's live in a woman's body...' -One of my favourite designer, Diane Von furstenberg...

I love her sense of design. She celebrates women and her principle is to always be confident and her design philosophy is to create elegant ease for all women.

My post for today is about her amazing fashion headquaters, designed by Work Architecture company and is located in New York's meat packing district area. The building houses the company’s New York store, a 5,000 SF showroom, design and administrative offices and an executive suite. Made in 2007 with budget of 28 million, and the main iconic connection in this building is the staircase. The stairway is incredible. All that light made it possible to call it “the staidelier” (stair plus chandelier). It connects the diamond from the rooftop with the rest of the building allowing the building to have natural lights all over and it connects to all area in the building. amazing!.

The diamond penthouse was built in Spain and then shipped in containers. The stairdelier was made from precast concrete and was dropped by crane into the building. The roof terrace was planted with native grasses and wildflowers.

The theme of the project is flexibility — the publicly accessible floors are all designed to transform for special events, parties, and performances. The guardrail is created from vertical cables, between which has strung glass crystals provided by Swarovski. A heliostat mirror will track the sun throughout the day and focus light on the crystals, spreading natural light across the ceiling of each floor.

soft bathroom...

A hot bubble bath after work tonight would be brilliant and deserving. it's been raining quite alot and i just feel that i need to be home, be in my comfort zone with a nice cinnamon earl grey and a good movie and just get cosy under the duvet..a sweet way to end those hectic week i had..

i love bath, it's a space where you can relax, play on old songs and just soak in with warm water and let the aroma therapy ease and pamper you.. i love vintage looks for a bathroom, it feels softer and warm..pastel colours just comforts the space and with nice lights..just romantic and classic...

just because...

it's the friday again...if you're going out tonight, pastel colour is the way to go as it look soft and sexy and also something pretty sweet to welcome fall..wear with a chunky knitwear cardi and an ankle boot so you'll be warm..

would love to visit this place myself and experience the unique house, the natural element and the view, would be amazing...i wonder who lives there? reminds me of the flinstones family..:)

it's drizzling non-stop in London and looks like fall/winter is coming pretty soon..it's time to gear up boots, leather jacket, over-sized sweater, tights, any necessary things so you'll be ready to welcome the new season..:)

start looking for warm winter colours for nails, red lips with just blusher and fresh face or go smokey eyes and nude lips and high bun for hair.

wednesday blues

i don't have monday blues, it's wednesday for me, maybe because it's in the middle and basically i just want my weekend already..lol.

i tend to cover that up with a little more effort on what i wear, ( trust me, it helps)..

but i do feel tomorrow is my all black day..i'll just put on a striking red lips and just hope wednesday will go quick so i could welcome thursday and friday..goodnight:)
