Perforated House

This cool house is called Perforated House designed by Kavellaris urban design, located in Melbourne, Australia...

They wanted to create something that will be more than just a facade. Instead of external facade, could be experienced internally ans is also a multi functional device that constantly transform the built form...from solid to void, from private to public, from opaque to translucent. By day, the building is heavy and reflective and by night, inverting into a soft translucent permeable light box...

it's a very friendly and clever design, concept and style and looks unique...

glitz, colours and nature..

Just look at all these combinations for a garden house..such glamour in a simple beautiful way, i would want something like this for my house as well, the beautiful chandelier, the different soft colours for flowers, meets the chic design for furniture and white wood structure..

perfect for sipping tea, having breakfast, and just lazing around and appreciate the beauty...

This is a 17Th century building, and has been completely renovated. Each room is a veritable designer's creation conceived by none other than, Christian Lacroix. He wanted to have this concept style of being in a dreamland, fantasy world but mixing well with beautiful fabrics and fashion as he is a fashion designer...it's uniquely beautiful and it's in the heart of Paris :)

Provence beauty...

Always a fan of mixing old and new together especially structurally and design and also styling...

this country house in Provence has that mixture, new elements of concrete and glass but kept the old features on shutters, doors and roof design...

Colour palette that is used are mostly white in every space with the soft furniture, chairs and tables by Philippe Stark, just acts character and class to this beautiful country masterpiece...
