gallery wall...

i adore using gallery element in a space..it creates a personal touch and statement also more character. I say.. ' as you enter a space, it's a story..hanging on the wall, an experience to be shared with..'

Gallery wall-

some tips to share:

1. Must have a consistent theme like ; all black and white, or all white mats, or all black frames or keep all spacing between frames equal..

( sometimes, rules are meant to be broken, but it takes more confidence and a keen eye to jazz it up..but don't be afraid to create a good mess if you want to create more volume on the wall..)

2. start with biggest or strongest or your favourite piece first and then work the rest around it, up or down.

3. start with laying them on the floor first so you could a first more clear view on how it will look like until you are happy with it, you must have a centre point and measure wall height.

4. pick only one location or feature wall of your house to do so. otherwise, it could look ermm.. tacky and busy bee ;)

most of all, be creative and have fun..

p/s: if you browse through my previous posts..you'll see some images with gallery wall elements too..what can i say,i'm a fan...
